My current best attempt at the Vocaloid Hatsune Miku. I gave her a little attitude because most of my sketch lack any sort of expression. Ironically this is the most un-Miku-ish expression, but it turned out alright, so it's a keeper.

I thought drawing Miku was pretty straightforward and started without a reference. Then which I compared my sketch with references online, I didn't realize Miku's design has all these weird details (the box on the collar, the sides of the boots). Then I looked at other fanart, and they left out a lot of these little details. So I just stopped caring and added only a few. So if things are out of proportion, things are missing, the lesson is, print out your reference materials, guys.
